Irish hotel tech pioneer Avvio has just joined forces with US private equity backed Sceptre Hospitality Resources. This will bring together two of the industry’s most dynamic and entrepreneurial companies, and follows Serent Capital’s investment in SHR in 2020. With this acquisition, Serent Capital sponsored the takeover of Avvio through Sceptre to create a technology powerhouse for independent hotels and chains with unrivaled customer support across the world.
Avvio is a rapidly growing Irish company that specializes in hotel technology. We’ve been providing solutions to 500 hotels around the world since 2017. Thanks to our proprietary AI-powered booking engine allora.ai, members of Avvio have over £400 million worth of transactions per year.
